Q Group is a leader in the construction industry, known for its strategic problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence.
My task was to redesign the Q Group’s website following their rebrand. The challenge was to create a premium, forward-thinking aesthetic that reflects the company’s brand, while being functional and easy to use.

Mobile considered
Analytics data indicated that over 70% of visitors to the existing website used a mobile device, so it was crucial to ensure that the website was fully optimised for mobile users.
Every element of the design was carefully considered to provide a seamless experience and ensure the aesthetic of the new brand was consistent across a range of devices.
Minimalist design, fluid animation
The website features a clean, minimalist design with a loose grid that puts the focus on the content and imagery.
For a premium feel, I designed and coded fluid animations that seamlessly blend with the overall design.




Showcasing projects
The ‘Our Work’ section was designed with custom taxonomies and tagging for simple filtering. This makes it easy for users to explore projects and find what they’re looking for.
Additionally, ‘Similar projects’ are linked at the footer of individual project pages, providing users with more options to explore.

Dynamic gallery layouts for project imagery
Project pages were designed with dynamic, repeatable content layouts. This allows the client to add their own photography while maintaining a consistent look and feel across the website.
Summary
Taking a multidisciplinary approach the design by incorporating UX/UI design, animation, frontend development, and QA/testing resulted in a premium brand and portfolio website that showcases the best of Q Group’s work and ethos.
